Meet Our Founding Shops
Three of Houston's newest independent fiber arts shops — spanning the greater Houston area from northwest to center to south — coming together to bring you something brand new this October.
Fiber Co.
Pearland's newest independent yarn and fiber arts destination. Owner Amanda Hill opened Southern Purl in February 2026 with a mission to bring quality yarn, fiber, embroidery, classes, and community to the south side of Houston.
Nestled in Houston's vibrant Sawyer Yards arts district, Scout & Skein opened its doors in October 2025. Owner Katie Hoffman built this shop around sustainability, inclusivity, and the belief that every maker deserves a beautiful, welcoming space to create.
Washington Heights, Houston, TX
Founded in June 2024, Craftique Studio is Cypress's home for yarn, fiber arts, classes, and maker community — and the birthplace of Houston Stitchmas. Also home to Morpholana, a hand-dyed yarn brand crafted with love by owner Grace Talavera.
Together our three shops span the greater Houston area — from Cypress in the northwest to Washington Heights in the heart of the city to Pearland in the south.
Your holiday making season starts wherever you are.
